Invented with Patients, Gynecologists, Urologists, Physical Therapists, & Physiologists in mind, “Pessary Assistant” aids in both placement & removal of Vaginal Ring Pessaries (Ring pessaries with & without support, Incontinence pessaries, & other similar pessaries).
Especially useful for patients with weak hand muscles or arthritis, it consists of:
1) A “Pessary Assist” side, which holds in place a folded Ring Pessary in preparation for placement, and
2) A “Pessary Hook” side, which helps retrieve a Ring Pessary from the vaginal canal

Chris Radpour, MD is a practicing, Board-Certified Ob/Gyn physician with Galen Medical Group in Chattanooga, TN.
Over the years, several of his pessary using patients complained of difficulty placing or removing their pessaries due to weak hand muscles or arthritis. With drawing & design help from his friends, Leslie Passons & Mickey Stewart, he invented the first-ever pessary placement & retrieval device.
